Adventure Hijinks: Football Night

ah2

I'm starting a new segment. When the new year came, people kept making the resolution to say yes more, or go out more, or try new things. We'll I'm going to try doing things too. It won't necessarily be things I've never done before, but things that are just unique and fun. Stuff you wouldn't normally do. Every entry will be a different activity. And I'm sharing the experience through the blog for you guys who want to try them too!

And what better way to start this segment than with the activity I love the most:

Football! (Or soccer. However you want to call it.)

Captain America VS. Winter Soldier

cap

I hated Captain America: The Winter Soldier!!!

...is what a crazy person would say.

Anyone who doesn't think Cap 2 was good must've been watching a different film...Or a pirated copy...Or in mute...

THAT SAID, I do have a few problems with it. (SPOILER MODE: ON)

Black Widow and Punisher Sitting on a Tree...

1

Movie Review: Avengers Confidential: Black Widow and Punisher

Black Widow and Punisher haven’t had that much success in being introduced to the general public. The Punisher movies were kooky and forgettable, and while I enjoy seeing the gorgeous Scarlet Johannson as much as the next guy, her Black Widow just didn’t say deadly, RUSSIAN assassin for me. But this movie, albeit animated, has got the best and most hardcore version of Punisher and Black Widow I’ve ever seen.

Videos of the Week #4

videos

It's time again for Videos of the Week! And this time, it's commercial week! Just some of the most interesting and wackiest commercials I've seen in a while. And since commercials are just a few seconds short, I figure I'd list down more than 3 this time.:)

2 Years Young!

Last Feb. 10, Bettina and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary of being together! Wooht! Doesn't even feel like 2 months.:)

Disclaimer: This is a pretty late post, mainly because of the numerous photos I took.:) But one month isn't too late, I think. Hahaha!

300: A Repeat

Movie Review: 300: Rise of an Empire

300-Rise-of-an-Empire-HD-Poster

It's a prequel and a sequel...What do you even call that? A Quel?

Ribs and Relaxation at The Porch

IMG_02642

There's a new resto in town. It's called The Porch. Aptly so, because it looks like a ranch slash country home. It stands out as the clean white house in the midst of a very busy street. There are also these little things - a mini library, a mailbox and a bird cage - that makes it feel like a home away from home. It's a small place, sure, and yet it doesn't feel tight.

Spanish Food Fix: Galli Village Cafe

IMG_0197

I’ve always wanted to see the world. I’ve been to my fair share of countries but I’m not as well traveled as restaurant owner, Ms. Christine Arriola-Villonco. Christine adorns her restaurant’s walls with her travel photos (and other travel trinkets). And immediately, you see just where she got the inspiration of her new restaurant, Galli Village Café.

Galli Village Café is a quaint and relaxed Spanish restaurant along Maginhawa. Through it, Christine tries to give diners an authentic Spanish cuisine in an authentic European rustic café setting. Lucky for me, because I love Spanish food! I think it comes naturally us Filipinos.

WHAT ABOUT NON-STOP, THOUGH?!?!?!

To have an idea how I feel about Non-Stop (Or Liam Neeson in general), please watch this video below.

Liam Neesons is MY SHIIIITT!!!!!

NON-STOP WAS A NON-STOP ACTION-THRILLER! (Budu-bum-tsss!)

Classy, Cozy and Yummy : Via Antonella

Disclaimer: I apologize in advance if my description of the food seem redundant. I can say "ang sarap" in only so many ways.:)

IMG_0070

For years I've been searching for a nice, romantic, classy place to bring my girlfriend that's not too expensive. And I'm sure a lot of guys look for a similar place. And I'm here to tell those guys - it's not a myth! I've found it! There really IS a place like that!

And this place is called Via Antonella!
