I don’t know where to even start with this. Do I start with the snazzy rock themed interiors? Or the instruments they let customers play around with? Or the pillow laden elevated lounge they built? Or the delicious food and drinks they serve (at affordable prices, mind you)? Gahh!

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty was beautiful. Plain and simple. It was earnest and fun and heart-warming.

Movie Review: Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit

* I write as an audience who’s new to the Tom Clancy/Jack Ryan franchise.

As spy thrillers go, this was far from the best. Chris Pine and Kevin Costner were compelling as characters, but ultimately, the rest of the movie was flat and forgettable. The stakes felt trivial and the action was seldom exciting.

Bettina's Birthday Chronicles: Food Fortion

This is a loooong overdue post.:))

I just want to post the different places my girlfriend and I went on her birthday. I know it doesn't fall under the usual theme of my post, but maybe you might want to try the places we went to too.:) It was pretty fun to food trip around QC.

So her birthday was last Dec. 19, but we had a two day celebration since I wasn't sure if I had to work on her actual birthday. On the first day, we had brunch at π: Breakfast and Pies. It's a cozy little all-day breakfast place. It has a very elegant ambiance. The interiors were simple - wooden chairs, black walls - but I think what gave it a bit of character were the black board menus on the counter and the cool hanging ceiling lights. I'm no interior designer but it was really very nice. Just go there to see what I mean.:)

Of Cars and Coffee @ ToysCafe

How I wish I could've found out about this place BEFORE Christmas. It would've been the perfect place to look for a gift. I could eat and relax and buy my gifts all in one place!

Where is this, you ask? It is a nice little place called ToysCafe. It's located at the 2nd floor of Ash Creek Center at the corner of Ortigas ext. and Madison street. ToysCafe is a one-stop shop for food, coffee, and tons (and tons) of toys!

Top 20 Movies I'm Most Excited About in 2014!!!

Happy 2014 everyone!

All these movie lists are popping up online that I thought I'd make one of my own. 2013 had powerhouse movies, and Batman Vs. Superman and Avengers 2 may be set for 2015, but the 2014 movies aren't too shabby either. Heck, there's so many great movies this year that I had to special mention a lot of titles that didn't make it to my top 20!
